About Christopher:

The story behind the tiny little Christopher is one that would take up almost two pages. The portion where I got Christopher is a bit easier to explain and a shorter story. While Clifford was on my list of “not looking for another”, so was Christopher. But I knew the little guy desperately needed me.

Christopher was at a local barn that I worked at for quite some time. While working there, I spotted him in a tiny pen and knew just by looking at his face that he was a Morgan. I asked the barn owner about him and she confirmed he was. So naturally, I asked for more information about him to see if he was available for sale. At the time of summer 2022, he was not.

Every time I made the trek to that barn, I’d always bring him some sort of snack and befriend him. But one day, I went to the barn and hung on a display case, Morgan papers were there with “for sale”. I was VERY excited. So I asked the barn owner and from there, I was in contact with his owner.

I started to noticed how quickly Christopher was declining. His ribs started to show, his hip bones protruded, and his feet were horrendous. Due to not knowing if Christopher could be ridden, and his health declining, I kept talking the owner down on price. It took almost 4 months for her to lower his price, and thankfully she did just in time.

The summer of 2023, Christopher came home with me. In doing so, I put him on a proper feed and care regime, where he then really started to flourish. He has blossomed into a beautiful little pony that has tremendous try and is on the mend of beautiful trust.
