About Scooter:

Scooters story is one that I usually like to tell in person. It's complex, special, and unique. Just like the little pony himself.

At the age of 12, I fell in love with the breed from a few friends who were giving me lessons. In a search, they helped me find Scooter. We took a trip down to see the little 14.2 hand pony who was 6 at the time. Spicy and a little excitable, we all still really liked him. Upon purchasing him, my main goal was to ride in the Hunt Seat division on the Morgan Circuit. But when taking him home, Scooter proved to be more horse than what my 12 year old self bargained for.

With massive amounts of retraining for four years, we focused and rode with Buck Brannaman and the like to maintain a better understanding of each other. In doing so, Scooter and I created a trust that was beautiful and worthy of the show ring.

Instead of the Hunt Seat division, Scooter and I dedicated our time to Eventing, Hunter Jumper, Jumpers, Dressage, Ranch Riding, Speed Events, Cow Work, Sport Horse Under Saddle and In Hand.

Scooter is now 20 with a beautiful show record. He is semi retired from competition, but every so often he is ridden in the show ring. Scooter made Emmalie the Morgan loving human she is today.
