Emmalie Krueger:

At twelve years old, I bought my first Morgan, On Assignment (Scooter). I never knew that he would cause me to acquire many more Morgans after him, and here I am, with seven Morgans.

Scooter earned me many things in my career, and while he is retired now, he deserves many thanks due to the life he helped me create. As a teenager, I competed in the Morgan and Open dressage circuit for many years and we earned very high credentials together.

While the titles were amazing, they weren’t everything I was looking for. I truly found a breed within Scooters help that I wanted to be a part of.

As a trainer and instructor, my main focus for the equine is to have a soft and caring environment. A safe place to land. I heavily focus on correct bio-mechanics for each horse to have a comfortable life. Through natural horsemanship and classical dressage, horses are set to have a balanced and happy riding career.

About Austin Krueger:

I am Emmalie’s Husband and the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Absaroka Morgans! My wonderful wife got me into the “horse world” when we started dating in 2021 and now, here I am! My experience is NOTHING compared to my wife’s but she has been teaching me all of the things that I need to know.

Besides being a co-owner of our business, I have been serving in the Army since 2016 as a 11B (Infantryman) and a Military Funeral Honors Coordinator. I have deployed twice in support of Operation Joint Enterprise and Operation Spartan Shield.

During my time away from the Army, I enjoy being able to help run our business, whether that is handling financials or driving Emmalie around to other states for shows/clinics. The horse world is very new to me, but I have thoroughly enjoyed being around it and learning about it.

I have some ideas that will be coming to the business. I love the great outdoors of Wyoming, so stay tuned for our announcements on our website and social media! I am excited to be a part of our new adventure.

I have one horse of my own named, Cinco, who is a Gelding Quarter Horse. His background is cutting, sorting, roping, trail-riding, and ranching. He is the old-man of the herd, but him and work very well together. We understand each other.

I don’t have ANY experience in dressage, but I have competed in the Central Wyoming Dressage & Western Dressage Series that we throw on. Competing in these is my “excuse” to do something while I help run our series.
